FIFA Transfer Matching System (TMS)

FIFA Transfer Matching System (TMS) is an online system which each Member Association of FIFA are obligated to use to process the international clearances of both Amateur and Professional players, in and out of England, at every level of the game.

When there is an international transfer of a Professional player between Professional Clubs, both the buying and selling Club will have to register the transfer via FIFA TMS in order for international clearance to be generated.

Any ITC request for an Amateur player, The FA will generate on behalf of the registering club. The process to make an application for an amateur ITC can be found here.

FIFA TMS is also used to generate Electronic Player Passports (EPP) which are triggered by the relevant Training Rewards, which may be due under FIFA Regulations. Guidance relating to the FIFA Clearing House and the EPPs can be found here.

If a Club requires access to FIFA TMS, a request must be made to the FA Player Status team, who will review the request before supplying all education and training documents for a Club to complete. A request for access will need to be made via the Online Contact Form https://playerstatus.thefa.com/support/tickets/new
