Why are we charged a promotion application fee and how much does it cost?

The current promotion application fee is £120. This fee has been in place for a number of seasons and covers the cost of administering the promotion application.

As part of the promotion application process, The FA will carry out one inspection of your Club's ground (free of charge) to ensure that it meets the required Grade 7 or to provide a report as to how the Grade 7 can be met. It is important to note that the £120 fee does not in any way cover the grading inspection, although any ground requiring additional inspections after the initial one will be subject to a £120 fee for each additional inspection.

The £120 promotion application fee is non-refundable should your Club withdraw its promotion application, fail to meet the requirements for promotion or if a Club doesn't finish in a promotion position.
