Can we appeal a Club Allocation?

Any Club that is promoted/relegated to a given Step Level can appeal their allocation to a division, in accordance with The FA's Appeal Regulations. In addition to those Clubs, Clubs who are laterally moved by The FA or Clubs that applied for lateral movement which was not granted also have a right of appeal.

Clubs who do not enter a request for lateral movement and retain membership of the league/division they participated in during the prior season are not eligible for an appeal as there has been no change to their circumstance, nor did they apply to be considered for lateral movement.

Clubs wishing to appeal a Club Allocation or to discuss whether an appeal would be appropriate should contact disciplinary@thefa.com.
